Original Buyer

CONDITIONS

This warranty is only applicable to the original owner and is not transferable. Furniture purchased by a corporation with the intention of commercial use, furniture destined for general public use, leased items, those bought in a liquidation sale or that have been modified, are not covered by this warranty.

Residential use

WOOD FRAMES AND SPRINGS:

• Limited warranty on wood frames and springs ;

  * On any manufacturing defect from normal conditions for residential use.

  * Please avoid sitting on arms and back of the furniture. Alphavic inc. takes responsibility for the cost of parts and labour during a period of one (1) years from the delivery date from our factory. After the second year, the warranty is applicable only on the replacement of defect or broken parts.

• 3-year-warranty on swivel-glider-recliner mechanism (-03) ; decreasing warranty:

  First year : parts and labour ;

  Second and third years : parts

  If a swivel-glider-recliner mechanism (-03) is out of guarantee and has to be replaced, one-year-warranty is applicable on the new one.

• 3-year-warranty on motorized lift motion mechanism (-16) and one-year-warranty (1) on electric parts ;

  First year : parts and labour ;

  Second and third years : parts

  If a motorized lift motion mechanism has to be replaced, one-year-warranty (1) is applicable on the new one.

• One-year-warranty (1) on a electric-recliner mechanism (-07M);

• Life limited warranty on a recliner mechanism (-07);

• One-year-warranty (1) on a rocker-recliner mechanism (-14);

• One-year-warranty (1) on a swivel-glider mechanism (-02);

• One-year-warranty (1) on a swivel mechanism (-09);

• Life limited warranty on a wall-a-way mechanism (-06), (-62), (-63).

Poly-Foam

Alphavic inc. guarantees the poly-foam for a one (1) year period against tearing and deformation due to defects in material or fabrication.

Please note that the softening of the cushions is a result of normal usage and is not considered as a defect. Therefore, a slight loss of firmness is to be expected

C.O.M. Orders

• Customer’s Own Fabric (C.O.M.) must be 54” wide, the pattern must be width-wise and not necessitate a match

  * The right side of the fabric must be clearly identified in order to avoid errors or confusion

  The warranty does not apply for fabric or leather fabrication furnished by the client.

Exclusions

Any implied warranties, including warranties of market value and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the warranty expressly offered on this product. This limited warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties written or oral, expressed or implied. Alphavic inc. is not in any way liable for this warranty or other, for consequential or incidental damages resulting from use or loss of material.

Procedure for service under the warranty

Claims must be made through the retailer where the furniture was purchased. The retailer will communicate with us to this affect. THE ORIGINAL INVOICE WILL BE REQUIRED.

Within the limit of the present warranty Alphavic inc. will repair or replace, at their expense, all products found defective due to defects in material or workmanship. Alphavic inc. will determine the cause and nature of the defect, the need for replacement or repair, the settlement or any other matter relating to the condition of the furniture. When it is not possible to replace the merchandise by an identical products, Alphavic inc. reserves the right to use a similar product of equal value. The obligation of Alphavic inc. will in no case exceed the original cost paid by the retailer.

Leather warranty

One year warranty on Leathers according to our suppliers norms.

Fabric warranty

Alphavic warrants your fabric for a period of one (1) year from date of delivery from our factory, against seam failure, fabric separation.  Pilling and fading are not covered.  The fabric warranty is void if there is excessive soiling, improper cleaning or abuse, or when a treatment has been applied
